Hebrews 6:13

For when God (Elohim) made promise to Abraham, since he could swear by none greater, he sware by himself,

For example, there was God (Elohim)’s promise to Abraham. Since there was no one greater to swear by, God (Elohim) took an oath in his own name, saying:
