μηδὲ προσέχειν μύθοις καὶ γενεαλογίαις ἀπεράντοις, αἵτινες ⸀ἐκζητήσεις παρέχουσι μᾶλλον ἢ οἰκονομίαν θεοῦ τὴν ἐν πίστει—
English Translation
nor to pay attention to endless myths and genealogies, which provide questions rather than the stewardship of God that is in faith—

neither to give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questionings, rather than a dispensation of God (Elohim) which is in faith; [so do I now].

They shouldn't concern themselves with legends and never-ending obsessions about ancestry. Such ideas only lead to pointless debates, instead of understanding God (Elohim) as we trust in him.
