מֵ֭רַע מַקְשִׁ֣יב עַל שְׂפַת אָ֑וֶן שֶׁ֥קֶר מֵ֝זִין עַל לְשׁ֥וֹן הַוֺּֽת
English Translation
From evil, he gives heed to the lips of falsehood; deceit he listens to the tongue of trouble.

An evil-doer giveth heed to wicked lips; [And] a liar giveth ear to a mischievous tongue.

An evildoer giveth heed to wicked lips; And a liar giveth ear to a mischievous tongue.

A wrongdoer gives attention to evil lips, and a man of deceit gives ear to a damaging tongue.

The evil-doer giveth heed to iniquitous lips; the liar giveth ear to a mischievous tongue.

The evil man obeyeth an unjust tongue: and the deceitful hearkeneth to lying lips.

Anyone who oppresses the poor insults their Maker, and anyone who enjoys the suffering of others will be punished.
