ὁ δὲ Πιλᾶτος βουλόμενος τῷ ὄχλῳ τὸ ἱκανὸν ποιῆσαι ἀπέλυσεν αὐτοῖς τὸν Βαραββᾶν, καὶ παρέδωκεν τὸν Ἰησοῦν φραγελλώσας ἵνα σταυρωθῇ.
English Translation
But Pilate, wishing to do what pleased the crowd, released to them Barabbas, and handed over Jesus after flogging him to be crucified.

And Pilate, wishing to content the multitude, released unto them Barabbas, and delivered Yashua (Jesus), when he had scourged him, to be crucified.
