1 Peter 3:5

For after this manner aforetime the holy women also, who hoped in God (Elohim), adorned themselves, being in subjection to their own husbands:

And these were the ornaments of the holy women of the past, whose hope was in God (Elohim), being ruled by their husbands:

For thus also the holy women who have hoped in God (Elohim) heretofore adorned themselves, being subject to their own husbands;

For after this manner heretofore the holy women also, who trusted in God (Elohim), adorned themselves, being in subjection to their own husbands:

as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose children ye now are, if ye do well, and are not put in fear by any terror.

like Sarah who obeyed Abraham, and called him “lord.” You are her daughters if you do what's good and right and are not intimidated.

For this is how the holy women before, who hoped in God (Elohim) also adorned themselves, being in subjection to their own husbands:

For euen after this maner in time past did the holy women, which trusted in God (Elohim), tire them selues, and were subiect to their husbands.

For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God (Elohim), adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:

for thus once also the holy women who hoped on God (Elohim) were adorning themselves, being subject to their own husbands,

This is how the holy women of old made themselves beautiful. They put their trust in God (Elohim) and accepted the authority of their husbands.
