ὅτι καὶ Χριστὸς ἅπαξ περὶ ἁμαρτιῶν ⸀ἔπαθεν, δίκαιος ὑπὲρ ἀδίκων, ἵνα ⸀ὑμᾶς προσαγάγῃ τῷ θεῷ, θανατωθεὶς μὲν σαρκὶ ζῳοποιηθεὶς δὲ πνεύματι·
English Translation
For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring you to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit.

Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God (Elohim); being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;

Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring you to God (Elohim); being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;

Because Christ once went through pain for sins, the upright one taking the place of sinners, so that through him we might come back to God (Elohim); being put to death in the flesh, but given life in the Spirit;

for Christ indeed has once suffered for sins, [the] just for [the] unjust, that he might bring us to God (Elohim); being put to death in flesh, but made alive in [the] Spirit,

Because Christ also died once for our sins, the just for the unjust: that he might offer us to God (Elohim), being put to death indeed in the flesh, but enlivened in the spirit,

in which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison,

He went to speak to those “imprisoned”

Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring you to God (Elohim); being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;

For Christ also hath once suffered for sinnes, the iust for the vniust, that he might bring vs to God (Elohim), and was put to death concerning the flesh, but was quickened by the spirit.

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God (Elohim), being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
