πῶς δὲ νῦν βλέπει οὐκ οἴδαμεν, ἢ τίς ἤνοιξεν αὐτοῦ τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς ἡμεῖς οὐκ οἴδαμεν· ⸂αὐτὸν ἐρωτήσατε, ἡλικίαν ἔχει⸃, αὐτὸς περὶ ἑαυτοῦ λαλήσει.
English Translation
But how he now sees, we do not know, or who opened his eyes, we do not know. Ask him; he is of age, he will speak for himself.

These things said his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man should confess him to be Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.

Once more they called in the man who had been blind, and told him, “Give God (Elohim) the glory! We know this man is a sinner.”
