נָֽפְלָה֙ עֲטֶ֣רֶת רֹאשֵׁ֔/נוּ אֽוֹי נָ֥א לָ֖/נוּ כִּ֥י חָטָֽאנוּ
English Translation
The crown of our head has fallen; woe to us, for we have sinned.

The crown is fallen from our head: Woe unto us! for we have sinned.

The crown has been taken from our head: sorrow is ours, for we are sinners.

For the mountain of Zion, which is desolate; the foxes walk upon it.

Because of Mount Zion, which has been abandoned, and where only foxes roam.

The crown has fallen from our head. Woe to us, for we have sinned!
