The LORD did this to purge Israel’s wickedness,<br>to take away all her sin.<br>As a result, all the pagan altars will be crushed to dust.<br>No Asherah pole or pagan shrine will be left standing.<br>

לָ/כֵ֗ן בְּ/זֹאת֙ יְכֻפַּ֣ר עֲוֺֽן יַעֲקֹ֔ב וְ/זֶ֕ה כָּל פְּרִ֖י הָסִ֣ר חַטָּאת֑/וֹ בְּ/שׂוּמ֣/וֹ כָּל אַבְנֵ֣י מִזְבֵּ֗חַ כְּ/אַבְנֵי גִר֙ מְנֻפָּצ֔וֹת לֹֽא יָקֻ֥מוּ אֲשֵׁרִ֖ים וְ/חַמָּנִֽים
English Translation
Therefore, in this way the sin of Jacob will be atoned for, and this is all the fruit of the sin offering, which is placed on all the stones of the altar, like shattered stones; they will not rise, the ashes and the remnants.
