בִּ/גְזֵרַ֤ת עִירִין֙ פִּתְגָמָ֔/א וּ/מֵאמַ֥ר קַדִּישִׁ֖ין שְׁאֵֽלְתָ֑/א עַד דִּבְרַ֡ת דִּ֣י יִנְדְּע֣וּן חַ֠יַּיָּ/א דִּֽי שַׁלִּ֨יט עלי/א עִלָּאָ֜/ה בְּ/מַלְכ֣וּת אנוש/א אֲנָשָׁ֗/א וּ/לְ/מַן דִּ֤י יִצְבֵּא֙ יִתְּנִנַּ֔/הּ וּ/שְׁפַ֥ל אֲנָשִׁ֖ים יְקִ֥ים עלי/ה עֲלַֽ/הּ
English Translation
By the decree of the city of Pithgam and by the saying of the holy ones, until the word that they will know my life, that he reigns over me in the human kingdom, and for the one who will gather, he will give it and humble men will rise against it.

He cried aloud, and said thus, Hew down the tree, and cut off its branches, shake off its leaves, and scatter its fruit: let the beasts get away from under it, and the fowls from its branches.

Let his mind become like that of an animal. Let him be like this for seven times.

The sentence is according to the decree of the watchmen, and according to the word of the holy ones: the demaunde was answered, to the intent that liuing men may knowe, that the most High hath power ouer the kingdome of men, and giueth it to whomsoeuer he will, and appointeth ouer it the most abiect among men.
