Hosea 9:1

Rejoice not, O Israel, for joy, like the peoples; for thou hast played the harlot, [departing] from thy God (Elohim); thou hast loved hire upon every grain-floor.

Rejoice not, Israel, exultingly, as the peoples; for thou hast gone a whoring from thy God (Elohim), thou hast loved harlot's hire upon every corn-floor.

Israel, don't rejoice! Don't celebrate like other nations! For you have practiced prostitution; you have loved a prostitute's wages on every threshing floor of grain.
