Ezekiel 9:8

And it came to pass, while they were smiting, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord Jehovah! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy wrath upon Jerusalem?

And the slaughter being ended I was left: and I fell upon my face, and crying, I said: Alas, alas, alas, O Lord God (Elohim), wilt thou then destroy all the remnant of Israel, by pouring out thy fury upon Jerusalem?

While they were busy killing people, I was left by myself. I fell facedown to the ground and cried out, “Lord God (Elohim), when you pour out your anger on Jerusalem, are you going to destroy everyone who's left in Israel?”
