See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;

Consider that I have set before thee this day life and good, and on the other hand death and evil:

I'm telling you today to love the Lord your God (Elohim), to follow his ways, and to keep his commandments, rules, and regulations, so you can live and grow in number, and so the Lord your God (Elohim) may bless you in the country that you are entering and will own.

Behold, I have set before you today life and prosperity, and death and evil.

“Now listen! Today I am giving you a choice between life and death, between prosperity and disaster.
