Matthew Chapter 10
Matthew chapter 10 records Jesus appointing and sending out His twelve disciples to minister throughout Israel. He gives them authority to cast out unclean spirits and heal diseases, instructing them to preach that the kingdom of heaven is near. Jesus teaches them to rely on God’s provision, travel humbly, and freely give as they have freely received.

Jesus warns the disciples that they will face persecution, rejection, and hardship because of their mission. He encourages them not to fear those who can harm the body but to remain faithful before God. Jesus teaches that following Him may bring division even within families, and He calls His followers to take up their cross and place loyalty to Him above all else. The chapter concludes with promises of reward for those who receive and support His messengers in His name.
