1 And the lot for the tribe of the children of Judah came to the boundary of Edom, the wilderness of Zin, southward from the extreme of the Teman. 2 And there was to them a border to the south from the edge of the Salt Sea from the tongue that turns southward. 3 And he went out to the south, to the ascent of Acrabim, and crossed the border, and went up from the south to Kadesh Barnea, and passed Hezron and went up to Adar, and turned to the south. 4 And the river from Egypt will cross, and the outlets of the border will be to the west; this will be to you a border to the south. 5 And the boundary of the east is the salt sea as far as the end of the Jordan, and the boundary at the northern edge from the tongue of the sea to the end of the Jordan. 6 And the border of Beth Haggilah will rise and pass from the north to the house of the Arabah, and the border will rise to the stone of Bohan son of Reuben. 7 And the boundary shall go up from the valley of Achor, and it shall turn northward to Gilgal, which is opposite the ascent of Adummim, which is south of the brook, and the boundary shall pass on to the waters of En Shemesh, and its goings out shall be at En Rogel. 8 And the border shall rise from the valley of the son of Hinnom to the shoulder of the Jebusite from the south; it is Jerusalem.
