1 And you shall make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twisted linen and blue and purple and scarlet yarn, with cherubim, the work of a skilled artisan, you shall make them. 2 The length of one curtain is twenty-eight cubits, and the width of one curtain is four cubits; the curtain is of the same measure for all the curtains. 3 Five curtains shall be joined together, one to another, and five curtains shall be joined together, one to another. 4 And you shall make for the fringes blue threads on the edge of the one curtain of the set, and likewise you shall make on the edge of the curtain that is at the end of the second set. 5 Make fifty loops on the one curtain, and you shall make fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that is in the second set, opposite the loops of the other curtain. 6 And you shall make fifty clasps of gold, and you shall join the curtains of the tent together with the clasps, and the tabernacle shall be one. 7 And you shall make curtains of goats' hair for a tent over the tabernacle; you shall make eleven curtains. 8 The length of each curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the width of each curtain shall be four cubits; the curtains shall be of the same measure for the ten curtains. 9 And you shall join the five curtains together, and the six curtains together, and you shall double over the sixth curtain in front of the tent. 10 And you shall make fifty loops on the edge of the one curtain that is at the outermost end of the set, and fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that is at the second set. 11 And you shall make fifty clasps of copper, and you shall bring the clasps into the loops, and you shall attach the tent, and it shall be one. 12 And the surplus of the curtains of the tent, half of the surplus curtain shall hang over the back of the tabernacle. 13 And the cubit from this side and the cubit from that side shall be in the excess in the length of the curtains of the tabernacle; it shall be folded over on the sides of the dwelling from this side and from that side to cover it. 14 And you shall make a covering for the tent of goat skins dyed red, and a covering of rams’ skins dyed red above. 15 And you shall make the boards for the tabernacle of acacia wood, standing up. 16 Ten cubits is the length of the board, and a cubit and a half is the width of the board of the one. 17 Two hands for one board, joined woman to her sister; thus you shall do for all the boards of the tabernacle. 18 And you shall make the boards for the tabernacle twenty boards for the south side southward. 19 And you shall make forty sockets of silver; under twenty of the boards, two sockets under one board for its two tenons, and two sockets under another board for its two tenons. 20 And for the side of the second tabernacle, on the north side, twenty boards. 21 And forty bases of silver, two bases under one board, and two bases under another board. 22 And for the sides of the tabernacle toward the west, you shall make six boards. 23 And you shall make two cherubim of gold; of hammered work shall you make them, at the two ends of the mercy seat. 24 And there shall be pairs of them from the tribe, and together they shall be complete upon the head of the one ring; thus it shall be for the two of them for the two sides they shall be. 25 And there shall be eight boards, and their sockets shall be silver, sixteen sockets; two sockets under one board and two sockets under another board. 26 And you shall make the bars of acacia wood five for the boards of the side of the tabernacle, the one. 27 And five bars for the boards of the second side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the tabernacle for the rear side to the west. 28 And the connecting beam within the planks runs from one end to the other. 29 And you shall overlay the boards with gold, and you shall make their rings of gold for the bars, and you shall overlay the bars with gold. 30 And you shall raise up the tabernacle according to the pattern which you were shown on the mountain. 31 And you shall make a veil of blue and purple and scarlet yarn and fine twisted linen, the work of a skilled artisan; it shall be made with cherubim. 32 And you shall put it on four pillars of acacia wood covered with gold; their hooks shall be of gold, on four bases of silver. 33 And you shall put the curtain under the clasps, and you shall bring there, from the house of the curtain, the Ark of the Testimony, and the curtain shall separate for you between the Holy and between the Holy of Holies. 34 And you shall place the mercy seat on the ark of the testimony in the holy of holies. 35 And you shall place the table outside the veil, and the lampstand opposite the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south, and the table you shall put on the side of the north. 36 And you shall make a screen for the entrance of the tent, blue and purple and scarlet yarn, and fine twisted linen, the work of a weaver. 37 And you shall make for the curtain five pillars of acacia wood, and you shall overlay them with gold, and their hooks shall be of gold, and you shall cast for them five bases of bronze.
