King James Version

Numbers • Chapter 15

1 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying. 2 Speak to the children of Israel and say to them: when you come into the land of your dwellings, which I am giving to you. 3 And you shall make a fire offering to the Lord, a burnt offering or a sacrifice for a vow or as a freewill offering or at your appointed times, to make a pleasing aroma to the Lord from the herd or from the flock. 4 And the one who brings an offering to the Lord shall bring a grain offering of fine flour mixed with a fourth of a hin of oil. 5 And you shall make a quarter of a hin of wine for the libation on the burnt offering or for the sacrifice of the one lamb. 6 Or for a ram, you shall make a meal offering of fine flour, two-tenths mixed with a third of a hin of oil. 7 And wine for the drink offering, a third of a hin, you shall offer as a soothing aroma to the LORD. 8 And when you make a bull offering or a sacrifice to fulfill a vow or as peace offerings to the Lord. 9 And he shall bring a grain offering of three tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with half a hin of oil. 10 And wine you shall bring for the drink offering, half a hin; a fire offering, a pleasing aroma to the Lord. 11 Thus it shall be done for the bull, for the one ram, or for the one lamb in the flock or for the goats. 12 As/for the number that you shall do, so you shall do to each one according to their number. 13 Every citizen shall do so to bring an offering, a fire of pleasing aroma to the Lord. 14 And if a stranger dwells with you, or whoever is among you throughout your generations, and he brings a fire offering, a pleasing aroma to the LORD, as you do, so he shall do. 15 The congregation shall have one statute for you and for the stranger who resides among you; it shall be an everlasting statute for your generations, as you are, so shall the stranger be before the Lord. 16 One law and one judgment shall be for you and for the foreigner who dwells with you. 17 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying. 18 Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, "When you come into the land that I am bringing you there." 19 And it will be when you eat of the bread of the land, you shall lift up a contribution to the Lord. 20 At the beginning of your threshing floors, you shall lift up a contribution, as the contribution of the threshing floor, so you shall lift it up. 21 From the beginning of your harvest, you shall give a contribution to the LORD for your generations. 22 And if you err and do not do all these commandments that the Lord spoke to Moses. 23 All that the Lord has commanded you by the hand of Moses from the day that the Lord commanded and onward for your generations. 24 And it shall be, if it is done unintentionally from the eyes of the congregation, that all the congregation shall make a bull, a young bull, as a burnt offering for a soothing aroma to the Lord, and its grain offering and its drink offering according to the ordinance, and a male goat as a sin offering. 25 And the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them, for it is a mistake, and they have brought their offering, an offering by fire to the Lord, and their sin before the Lord for their mistakes. 26 And it shall be forgiven for all the congregation of the children of Israel and for the stranger who dwells among them, because it was done inadvertently by all the people. 27 And if one soul sins unintentionally and brings a goat in its second year for a sin offering. 28 And the priest shall make atonement for the soul that commits a sin in error before the LORD to make atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him. 29 The citizen among the children of Israel and the sojourner residing among them shall have one law for you for the one who acts in ignorance. 30 And the soul that does with a high hand from the native and from the stranger, that is blaspheming the Lord, that soul shall be cut off from among its people. 31 For the word of the Lord has been despised, and His command has been broken; that soul shall be cut off; it is her sin. 32 And the sons of Israel were in the wilderness, and they found a man gathering wood on the day of the Sabbath. 33 And they brought him, the ones who found him gathering wood, to Moses and to Aaron and to all the congregation. 34 And they left it in the guard because it was not clear what would be done to him. 35 And the Lord said to Moses, "The man who has committed murder shall surely be put to death by all the congregation outside the camp." 36 And the whole congregation brought him outside the camp, and they stoned him with stones, and he died as the Lord commanded Moses. 37 And the Lord said to Moses to say. 38 Speak to the children of Israel and say to them that they shall make for themselves fringes on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and they shall put a blue thread on the fringe of the corners. 39 And it shall be for you as a fringe, and you shall see it and remember all the commandments of the LORD and do them, and you shall not stray after your heart and after your eyes that you are led astray after them. 40 So that you may remember and do all my commandments, and you shall be holy to your God. 41 I am the LORD your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your God; I am the LORD your God.
