Numbers • Chapter 33

These are the journeys of the children of Israel who went out from the land of Egypt by their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.

And Moses wrote their departures according to the command of the LORD, and these are their journeys according to their departures.
3
And they set out from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the month; on the day after the Passover, the children of Israel went out with a high hand in the sight of all Egypt.
4
And the Egyptians are burying those whom the LORD struck down among them, all the firstborn; and the LORD executed judgments against their gods.

And the children of Israel set out from Ramses and camped at Succoth.
6
And they departed from Succoth and camped at Etham, which is on the edge of the wilderness.
7
And they set out from Etham and camped by the edge of Pi-Hahiroth, which is opposite Baal-Zephon, and they camped in front of Migdol.
8
And they set out from before Pi-Hahiroth and crossed through the midst of the sea in the wilderness, and they went three days' journey in the wilderness and they camped at Marah.
9
And they traveled from Marah and came to Elim; and in Elim there were twelve springs of water and seventy date palms, and they camped there.

And they set out from Elim and camped by the Sea of Reeds.

And they set out from the Sea of Suf and camped in the wilderness of Sin.
12
And they set out from the wilderness of Sin and camped at Daphkah.
13
And they set out from Daphka and camped at Alush.
14
And they set out from Alush and camped in Rephidim, but there was no water for the people to drink.
15
And they set out from Rephidim and camped in the wilderness of Sinai.
16
And they set out from the wilderness of Sinai and camped at Kibroth Hattaavah.

And they set out from the graves of craving and camped in Hazeroth.
18
And they traveled from Hazeroth and camped in Rithmah.
19
And they journeyed from Rithmah and encamped in Rimmon-peretz.
20
And they traveled from Rimmon Perez and camped at Libnah.
21
And they traveled from Libnah and encamped at Rissah.
22
And they traveled from Rissah and camped in Kehath.
23
And they journeyed from the assembly and encamped at Mount Shaper.
24
And they traveled from Mount Shafar and camped in Charadah.

And they set out from Haradah and camped in Makheloth.
26
And they journeyed from the assemblies and camped beneath.
27
And they journeyed from Tahath and camped at Tarach.
28
And they traveled from Tarach and camped at Mitkah.
29
And they set out from Mitkah and camped at Hashmonah.
30
And they set out from Hashmonah and camped at Moseroth.
31
And they traveled from Moseroth and camped in Bene Jaakan.
32
And the sons of Jacob traveled and camped at the place called Gidgad.
33
And they set out from Hor Haggidgad and camped at Jotbathah.
34
And they traveled from Jotbathah and camped in Abronah.
35
And they set out from Abroth and camped at Ezion Geber.
36
And they departed from Ezion-Geber and camped in the wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh.
37
And they journeyed from Kadesh and camped in the mountain of the high place at the edge of the land of Edom.
38
And Aaron the priest went up to Mount Hor at the command of the Lord and died there in the fortieth year of the Israelites' departure from the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month.
39
And Aaron was a son of three and twenty years when he died on Mount Hor.
40
And the Canaanite king of Arad heard, and he was dwelling in the Negev in the land of Canaan when the Israelites came.
41
And they traveled from the mountain of the mountain, and they camped in Zalmonah.
42
And they set out from Zalmonah and camped at Punon.
43
And they journeyed from Punon and camped at Oboth.
44
And they set out from Oboth and camped at Iye Abarim, in the boundary of Moab.
45
And they traveled from Iim and camped in Dibon Gad.
46
And they journeyed from Dibon Gad and camped in Almon Diblathaim.
47
And they set out from Almon Diblathaim and camped in the mountains of Abarim before Nebo.
48
And they journeyed from the mountains of Abarim and camped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan near Jericho.

And they camped by the Jordan from Beth Jeshimoth to Abel Shittim in the plains of Moab.
50
And the LORD spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan near Jericho, saying.
51
Speak to the children of Israel and say to them that you are crossing the Jordan into the land of Canaan.
52
And you shall dispossess all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and you shall destroy all their molten images and all their cast images you shall destroy, and you shall demolish all their high places.
53
And you shall inherit the land and dwell in it, for I have given the land to you to possess it.
54
And you shall inherit the land by lot for your families; to the many you shall give a large inheritance, and to the few you shall give a small inheritance; wherever the lot goes out for him, it shall be for the tribes of your fathers that you shall inherit.
55
And if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, it shall be that what you leave of them will become thorns in your sides and pricks in your eyes, and they shall harass you in the land in which you dwell.
56
And it will be as I imagined to do to them, so I will do to you.
