Ezekiel • Chapter 25
1
And the word of the LORD came to me, saying.
2
Son of man, set your face against the children of Ammon and prophesy against them.
3
And you shall say to the people of Ammon, 'Hear the word of my Lord, Yahweh. Thus says my Lord, Yahweh: Because you have said, "Aha! Against my sanctuary, because it is profaned," and against the land of Israel, because it is devastated, and against the house of Judah, because they have gone into exile.'
4
Therefore, behold, I am giving you to the sons of the east as a possession, and they shall dwell in your ruins, and they shall place their dwellings in you; they will eat your fruit and they will drink your milk.
5
And I will give Rabbah as a dwelling for camels and the children of Ammon as a resting place for sheep, and you will know that I am the Lord.

For thus says my Lord Yahweh: Because you struck with your hand and trampled with your foot, and you rejoiced in all your desolation with all your soul against the land of Israel.
7
Therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand against you and I will give you as plunder to the nations and I will cut you off from the peoples and I will destroy you from the lands; I will destroy you, and you will know that I am the Lord.

Thus says the Lord: Because Moab and Seir have said, "Indeed, like all the nations is Judah."
9
Therefore, behold, I am opening the shoulder of Moab from the cities, from its cities that are at the edge, the glory of the land of Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon and Kiriathaim.
10
For the sons of the east against the sons of Ammon, and I will give it as a possession, so that the sons of Ammon will not be remembered among the nations.
11
And in Moab I will execute judgments, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
12
Thus says my Lord Yahweh: Because of the deeds of Edom in seeking vengeance on the house of Judah, they have made themselves guilty, and we will take vengeance on them.
13
Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: I will stretch out my hand against Edom and cut off from it man and beast, and I will make it a desolation; from Teman and Dedan they shall fall by the sword.
14
And I will put my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel, and they shall do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath, and they shall know my vengeance, says the Lord God.
15
Thus says my Lord Yahweh: Because the Philistines have acted in vengeance and have avenged with scorn in their souls to destroy an everlasting enemy.
16
Therefore, thus says my Lord Yahweh: Behold, I am stretching out my hand against the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and I will destroy the remnant of the seacoast.
17
And I will inflict upon them great vengeance with furious rebukes, and they shall know that I am the LORD when I lay my vengeance upon them.
