King James Version

Ezekiel • Chapter 46

1 Thus says the Lord Yahweh: The gate of the inner courtyard that faces east shall be shut six days a week, but on the Sabbath it shall be opened, and on the day of the month it shall be opened. 2 And the ruler came by the way of the gate from outside and stood upon the doorpost of the gate, and the priests made his burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he bowed down at the threshold of the gate, and he went out, and the gate shall not be shut until evening. 3 And the people of the land shall bow down at the entrance of that gate on the Sabbaths and on the new moons before the Lord. 4 And the burnt offering which the prince will bring to the LORD on the day of the Sabbath, six unblemished sheep and a perfect ram. 5 And a grain offering of an ephah for the ram and for the lambs a grain offering as a gift of their hand, and oil a hin for the ephah. 6 And on the day of the month, a bull, a son of cattle, without blemish, and six lambs and a ram, without blemish, shall be. 7 And for the bull, an ephah; and for the ram, an ephah; he shall make a grain offering; and for the lambs, as much as he can afford, and a hint of oil for the ephah. 8 And when the prince enters by the way of the porch of the gate, he shall go out by the same way. 9 And when the people of the land come before the Lord at the appointed times, the one coming by the northern gate shall go out by the southern gate; and the one coming by the southern gate shall go out by the northern gate. He shall not return by the gate through which he came, for he shall go out straight before him. 10 And the prince among them shall come in when they go in, and when they go out, they shall go out. 11 And at the feasts and at the appointed times, the grain offering shall be an ephah for the bull, and an ephah for the ram, and for the lambs a gift of his hand, and oil a hin for the ephah. 12 And when the ruler makes a voluntary offering, a burnt offering or peace offerings voluntarily to the Lord, and opens for him the gate facing east, and he shall make his burnt offering and his peace offerings as he does on the Sabbath day, and he shall go out and shut the gate after he goes out. 13 And a one-year-old lamb, without blemish, you shall make as a burnt offering for the day to the Lord in the morning; in the morning you shall make it. 14 And a grain offering you shall make for Me in the morning, in the morning six-tenths of an ephah and a third of a hin of oil to mix with the fine flour for the grain offering to the LORD; it is a perpetual statute forever. 15 And they shall make the lamb, and the grain offering, and the oil in the morning, in the morning, the perpetual burnt offering. 16 Thus says my Lord the LORD: When the prince gives a gift to any of his sons, it is his inheritance; it shall be to his sons a possession by inheritance. 17 And if he gives a gift from his inheritance to one of his servants, it shall be his until the year of jubilee, and it shall return to the prince; only his inheritance shall be for his sons. 18 And the leader shall not take from the inheritance of the people to increase his own inheritance; he shall give his inheritance to his sons, so that the people will not be scattered, each man from his inheritance. 19 And He brought me to the entrance that is at the shoulder of the gate to the chambers of the holy place to the priests who are facing north, and behold, there was a place there at their end in the recesses toward the west. 20 And he said to me, "This is the place where the priests shall boil the guilt offering and the sin offering which they shall bake the grain offering, in order not to bring it out to the outer courtyard to sanctify the people." 21 And He brought me out to the outer courtyard and He brought me to the four corners of the courtyard, and behold, there was a courtyard in the corner of the courtyard. 22 At four corners of the courtyard, there were small courtyards, forty in length and thirty in width, with a single measurement for each of the four corners. 23 And a mountain surrounds them all around to four, and they cook from under the mountains all around. 24 And he said to me, "These are the houses of the cooks where the servants of the house will cook the offering of the people."
