1 When you inherit the land by lot, you shall raise a contribution to the Lord, a holy offering from the land, long twenty-five thousand cubits and wide ten thousand; it is holy throughout its borders all around. 2 There shall be from this to the sanctuary five hundred by five hundred cubits, square all around, and fifty cubits the open space around it. 3 And from this measure, the length shall be five and twenty thousand, and the width ten thousand; and in it shall be the sanctuary, the holy of holies. 4 Holiness from the land is for the priests who serve in the sanctuary; it shall be for them a place for houses and a sanctuary for the sanctuary. 5 And five and twenty thousand in length, and ten thousand in breadth; it shall be for the Levites who minister in the house for a possession, twenty for dwelling. 6 And the possession of the city you shall give five thousand cubits in width and twenty thousand in length, opposite the offering of the holy place for all the house of Israel shall be. 7 And for the chief from this and from that for the contribution of the holy thing and for the possession of the city before the contribution of the holy thing and before the possession of the city from the edge of the west sea and from the edge of the east, and the length for the divisions one of the portions from the border of the sea to the border of the east. 8 The land will be to him as a possession in Israel, and they will not carry my people away again, and the land will be given to the house of Israel for their tribes. 9 Thus says my Lord Yahweh: "Many of you, leaders of Israel, have removed violence and plunder, and have done justice and righteousness. Lift your exactions from upon my people," declares my Lord Yahweh. 10 You shall have just balances, just weights, and a just measure. 11 The ephah and the bat shall have one measure; the tenth of the measure of the bat and the tenth of the measure of the ephah shall be the same measure. 12 And the shekel is twenty gerahs; twenty shekels, five, and twenty shekels, ten, and five shekels; the maneh shall be for you. 13 This is the offering that you shall set aside: six tenths of an ephah of wheat flour and six tenths of an ephah of barley flour. 14 And this is the statute of the oil, the tenth of the oil from the measure; a tenth of the measures is the substance, for a tenth of the measures is the substance. 15 And one goat from the flock from the two hundred from the drink offerings of Israel for a grain offering and for a burnt offering and for peace offerings to make atonement for them, says the Lord Yahweh. 16 All the people of the land shall be for this offering to the prince in Israel. 17 And on the leader shall be the burnt offerings and the grain offerings and the drink offerings on the feasts and on the new moons and on the Sabbaths at all the appointed times of the house of Israel; he shall make the sin offering and the grain offering and the burnt offering and the peace offerings to atone for the house of Israel. 18 Thus says the Lord God: On the first day of the month, you shall take a young bull without blemish and cleanse the sanctuary. 19 And the priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering and put it on the doorposts of the house and on the four corners of the altar in the courtyard, and on the doorposts of the inner courtyard gate. 20 And thus you shall do in the seventh month, from a man who is unaware and from the foolish, and you shall make atonement for the house. 21 On the fourteenth day of the month, in the first month, there shall be to you the Passover, a festival of weeks; unleavened bread shall be eaten for seven days. 22 And the leader shall make on that day for himself and for all the people of the land a bull as a sin offering. 23 And during the seven days of the festival, he shall make an offering to the Lord, seven bulls and seven rams, unblemished, for the day of the seven days, and a sin offering, a goat, for the day. 24 And a grain offering is to be one-eighth for the bull and one-eighth for the ram; and the oil is to be one-tenth for the ephah. 25 On the seventh day of the fifteenth day of the month during the festival, he shall do like these seven days, as the sin offering, as the burnt offering, and as the grain offering, and as the oil.
