King James Version

Ezekiel • Chapter 35

1 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying. 2 Son of man, set your face against the mountain of Seir and prophesy against it. 3 And you shall say to him, "Thus says my Lord, Yahweh: Behold, I am against you, Mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand against you and make you desolate and waste." 4 Your cities will be made desolate, and you will be a desolation, and you will know that I am the Lord. 5 Because you have been an enemy forever and have stirred up the children of Israel by the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time of the iniquity of the end. 6 Therefore, as I live, declares the Lord Yahweh, because of the blood you have shed and the blood will pursue you if you have not hated blood, and blood will pursue you. 7 And I will make the mountain of Seir a desolation and a waste, and I will cut off from it the passerby and the returner. 8 And I will fill your mountains and your hills with your slain; and all your channels shall fall by the sword. 9 I will make desolate your everlasting ruins, and your cities will not be inhabited; you will know that I am the LORD. 10 Because of your saying, "The two nations and the two lands shall be mine," and we will possess them, therefore the Lord was there. 11 Therefore, as I live, says the Lord God, I will do according to your anger and according to your jealousy that you showed in your hatred against them, and I will make Myself known among them as I judge you. 12 And you shall know that I am the Lord; I have heard all your reproaches that you have spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, “They are desolate; they have been given to us for food.” 13 And you have increased against me in your mouths, and you have magnified against me your words; I have heard. 14 Thus says the Lord God: "As I make all the earth desolate." 15 As your joy was for the inheritance of the house of Israel upon which it became desolate, so will I make you desolate; Mount Seir and all of Edom shall be desolate, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
