King James Version

Psalms • Chapter 135

1 Praise Yah; praise the name of the LORD; praise, O servants of the LORD. 2 Standing in the house of the Lord, in the courtyards of our God. 3 Praise the Lord, for He is good; sing to His name, for it is pleasant. 4 For Jacob chose for himself Yah, Israel as his treasured possession. 5 For I know that the LORD is great and our Lord is above all gods. 6 All that the LORD desires, He has done in the heavens and in the earth, in the seas and all the depths. 7 He raises the winds from the ends of the earth; He makes lightning for the rain and brings forth the wind from His treasures. 8 He struck the firstborn of Egypt, from man to beast. 9 He sent signs and wonders in the midst of Egypt against Pharaoh and all his servants. 10 He struck many nations and killed mighty kings. 11 To Sihon, king of the Amorites, and to Og, king of Bashan, and to all the kingdoms of Canaan. 12 And He gave their land as a heritage, a heritage to Israel His people. 13 The LORD is your name forever; the LORD is your remembrance from generation to generation. 14 For the LORD will judge His people, and He will have compassion on His servants. 15 The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of human hands. 16 Their mouth will not speak, their eyes will not see. 17 They have ears, but they do not listen; in fact, there is no breath in their mouths. 18 Like them shall be those who do all that trust in them. 19 House of Israel, bless the Lord; house of Aaron, bless the Lord. 20 House of Levi, bless the Lord; you who fear the Lord, bless the Lord. 21 Blessed be the Lord from Zion, who dwells in Jerusalem. Praise Jah!
