King James Version
Psalms • Chapter 91
1
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2
I will say to the Lord, "My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
3
For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, from deadly pestilence.
4
In his covering, he will shield you, and under his wings, you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and armor.
5
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day.
6
Pestilence walks in the darkness; destruction lays waste at noon.
7
A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you.
8
Only in your eyes shall you look, and you will see the recompense of the wicked.
9
For you, O Yahweh, are my refuge; you have made the Most High your dwelling.
10
Do not bring harm upon you, and a plague shall not draw near to your tent.
11
For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
12
They will lift you up on their hands, lest you strike your foot against a stone.
13
You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the young lion and the serpent.
14
For I delighted in him, and I will deliver him; I will exalt him because he has known my name.
15
He will call me, and I will answer him; I am with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and I will honor him.
16
With long days I will satisfy him, and I will show him my salvation.
