King James Version

Psalms • Chapter 46

1 For the conductor, a song for the sons of Korah, on the melodies. 2 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 3 Therefore, I will not fear when the earth changes and when the mountains are moved into the heart of the seas. 4 Let the waters roar, let the mountains shake at His pride. Selah. 5 River of streams; they will rejoice the city of God, the holy dwelling place of the Most High. 6 God is in her midst; she will not be moved; God will help her at dawn. 7 The nations are in uproar, kingdoms are shaken; He gave His voice, the earth melts. 8 The LORD of hosts is with us; our stronghold is the God of Jacob. Selah. 9 Come, see the works of the LORD, which He has set as wonders on the earth. 10 He stops wars to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He sets the chariots on fire. 11 "Be still and know that I am God; I am exalted among the nations, I am exalted in the earth."
