Psalms • Chapter 6
1
For the conductor; with instruments; on the eighth; a psalm for David.
2
O LORD, do not rebuke me in your anger, nor chasten me in your wrath.
3
Grant me Grace, O Lord, for I am afflicted; heal me, O Lord, for my bones are troubled.
4
And my soul is very troubled, and You, O Yahweh, how long?
5
Again, O Lord, deliver my soul; save me for the sake of your mercy.
6
For there is no remembrance of You in death; in Sheol, who will give You thanks?
7
I have labored in my sighing; I make my bed every night with my tears.
8
I have grown weary from the anger of my eyes; I will break off all my adversaries.
9
Turn away from me, all you workers of iniquity, for the Lord has heard the voice of my weeping.
10
The Lord has heard my supplication; the Lord will take my prayer.
