King James Version

Psalms • Chapter 80

1 For the conductor, to the lilies, a testimony to Asaph, a psalm. 2 Shepherd of Israel, listen; you who lead like a flock, Joseph, you who dwell between the cherubim, shine forth. 3 Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up Your might, and go to our salvation. 4 God, restore us, and let your face shine, and we shall be saved. 5 O LORD God of Hosts, how long will you not hear the prayer of your people? 6 You have eaten bread of tears and have given them to drink tears by the third. 7 Place a dispute against our neighbors, and our enemies will mock. 8 O God of hosts, restore us, and let Your face shine, and we will be saved. 9 The vine from Egypt will be removed; it will cast out nations and will be planted. 10 You turned to my face, and you rooted her, and you filled the land. 11 The mountains are covered with its shade, and the branches of the cedar trees. 12 You shall send the harvest to the sea and to the river, your young ones. 13 Why have you broken down its fences, and all who pass by pluck its fruit? 14 A pig will graze in the meadow and a gazelle will roam. 15 God of hosts, please return, look from heaven and see, and visit this vine. 16 And like the vine that your right hand has planted, and upon the son you have made strong for yourself. 17 They will perish from the burning in the fire, like grass, from the rebuke of your face. 18 Let your hand be upon the man of your right, upon the son of man whom you have established for yourself. 19 And we will not turn away from You; in Your name we will call.
