King James Version

Psalms • Chapter 8

1 For the conductor, upon the Gittith; a psalm of David. 2 O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth, who has set your glory above the heavens. 3 Out of the mouths of infants and nursing babies, you have established strength because of your adversaries, to silence the enemy and the avenger. 4 For I will see the heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have established. 5 What is man that You remember him, and the son of man that You take note of him? 6 And You have made him a little lower than God, and You have crowned him with glory and honor. 7 You shall make all your works under my feet. 8 Shepherd and thousands of them, and also the beasts of the field. 9 Birds of heaven and fish of the sea pass through the paths of the waters.
