King James Version

Psalms • Chapter 144

1 Blessed is the Lord my rock, who teaches my hands for battle and my fingers for war. 2 My kindness and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer; my God, my rock in whom I take refuge, and the one who saves my people from oppression. 3 O Lord, what is mankind that You take notice of him, the son of man that You think of him? 4 Man is like a breath; his days are like a passing shadow. 5 O Lord, incline the heavens and come down; touch the mountains and they will smoke. 6 In lightning, send forth your arrows and scatter them. 7 Send your hand from on high, rescue me and deliver me from many waters, from the hand of foreigners. 8 Their mouth spoke falsehood, and their right hand is a right hand of deceit. 9 God, a new song I will sing to you; with a harp, I will make music to you. 10 The one who gives salvation to kings, who rescues David His servant from the evil sword. 11 Deliver me and save me from the hand of foreign sons, whose mouth speaks falsehood, and their right hand is a right hand of deceit. 12 That which our sons are like cultivated plants in their youth, our daughters like cornerstones, hewn for the structure of a temple. 13 Our corners are full of plentiful produce from one edge to the other, our flocks are numerous in our streets. 14 Our leaders are surrounded; there is no breakout, and there is no escape, and there is no outcry in our streets. 15 Blessed is the people that is таким; blessed is the people whose God is the Lord.
