King James Version

Psalms • Chapter 141

1 A psalm of David: O LORD, I called to you; hasten to me; give ear to my voice when I call to you. 2 Establish my prayer as incense before you, the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice. 3 The Lord set a guard over my mouth; He keeps watch over the door of my lips. 4 Do not set your heart to do evil, to indulge in wickedness against the men who work iniquity, and do not strive with their masters. 5 You will bring me a righteous kindness, and you will prove me with oil; my head will not refuse, for still my prayer is in their evils. 6 They have been removed from the hands of the judges, and they heard my saying because they were troubled. 7 Like one who breaks and tears in the land, our bones are scattered at the mouth of the grave. 8 For to You, O Lord, my God, my eyes are turned; in You I have sought refuge; do not discard my soul. 9 "Save me from the hands of those who lie in wait for me and from the snares of those who do evil." 10 The wicked will fall in my traps; together I will pass through.
