King James Version

Psalms • Chapter 85

1 For the conductor, a psalm of the sons of Korah. 2 You, O Lord, have favored Your land; You have restored the captivity of Jacob. 3 You have borne the iniquity of your people; you have covered all their sin. Selah. 4 You have gathered all Your anger; You have turned back from the fierceness of Your wrath. 5 Restore us, O God of our salvation, and turn away Your anger from us. 6 Forever you will be angry with us; you will draw your anger from generation to generation. 7 You will not return to revive us, and your people will rejoice in you. 8 Show us, O Lord, your lovingkindness and grant us your salvation. 9 I will hear what the Lord will speak, for He will speak peace to His people and to His saints, and let them not turn back to folly. 10 Surely salvation is near to those who fear Him, that glory may dwell in our land. 11 Kindness and truth have met; righteousness and peace have kissed. 12 Truth will spring from the earth, and righteousness will look down from heaven. 13 Also, the Lord will give the good, and our land will yield its produce.
