King James Version

Psalms • Chapter 19

1 For the choir director, a psalm of David. 2 The heavens declare the glory of God and the work of His hands proclaims the sky. 3 Day to day pours forth speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. 4 There is no saying and there are no words; their voice is not heard. 5 In all the earth, their line has gone out, and to the ends of the world, they have set a tent for the sun. 6 And he is like a groom coming out of his chamber; he will rejoice like a mighty man to run the course. 7 From the end of the heavens comes forth its going out, and its circuit to the ends of them; and there is nothing hidden from its heat. 8 The law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul; the testimony of the Lord is trustworthy, making wise the simple. 9 The commands of the Lord are upright, rejoicing the heart; the command of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. 10 The fear of the Lord is pure, standing forever; the judgments of the Lord are true and altogether righteous. 11 The desirable things are more than gold and more than much fine gold, sweeter than honey and the honeycomb. 12 Even your servant takes heed of them; in keeping them, there is a great reward. 13 "Who will understand the errors? From hidden things, make me clean." 14 Also from the proud, do not let them rule over me; then I will be free from great transgression.
