King James Version

Psalms • Chapter 52

1 For the conductor, a skillful song, of David. 2 When Doeg the Edomite came and told Saul, he said to him, "David has come to the house of Ahimelech." 3 Why do you boast of evil, O mighty man? The steadfast love of God endures all day. 4 The thoughts of your tongue are like a polished razor that does deceit. 5 You have loved evil more than good, falsehood more than speaking righteousness. Selah. 6 You have loved all the words of Balaam, a tongue of deceit. 7 God also will cast you out forever; He will seize you from the tent, and your root from the land of the living. Selah. 8 And the righteous shall see and fear, and they shall laugh at me. 9 Behold, the man will not make God his strength, but will trust in the abundance of his riches; he will be strong in his wickedness.
